The Machine Lubricant Analyst I & II Certification is for personnel responsible for the daily activities associated with lubrication tasks and basic lubricant analysis for machine condition monitoring. This includes managing test results and performing simple diagnostics. For personnel responsible for the daily activities associated with lubrication tasks and basic lubricant analysis for machine condition monitoring, managing test results and performing simple diagnostics is included.
This certification is optional and not included in the cost of training. Candidates must have at least two years education (post-secondary) or on-the-job training in one or more of the following fields: machine lubrication, engineering, mechanical maintenance, and/or maintenance trades in order to take the MLA I & II exam. Certification Exam ApplicationThe Machinery Lubrication Technician I & II Certification is for personnel responsible for daily lubrication tasks, lubricant receiving, and proper storage. Level II is for those responsible for managing the lube team, selecting lubricants, troubleshooting abnormal lubricant performance, and supporting machine design activities.
