Irving, Texas qualification criteria

General qualifications for enrolling in studies at our Irving site (Individual studies will have further qualifications)


Potential study participants must be in good general health, be able to read and understand English, and have a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID. Study participants cannot be taking medication for asthma, diabetes or have any autoimmune disorder, and cannot be pregnant, nursing, or planning a pregnancy.

Foundation Makeup

50 Females Ages 18-70
Testing a Foundation.
2 visits over 4 weeks
Study pays upon completion: $200

Requirements: Contact wearers, females

    • Must be contact wearers (can be contacts for sight or recreational wear; must wear them into the facility for each visit)
    • Some participants must consider themselves to have sensitive eyes 
    • All participants must consider themselves to have sensitive skin

SPF Face Product

75 Males and Females Ages 25-60
Testing a SPF Face Product.
5 visits over 12 weeks
Study pays upon completion: $550

Requirements: SPF user, sensitive skin

    • Participants must be regular users of an SPF facial Product (5-7times a week)
    • Participants must consider themselves to have sensitive skin in the testing area
    • Male participants with facial hair can only have a moustache or a goatee

How to become a panelist

ALS has many upcoming studies, and we invite you to participate

Earn extra cash by participating in studies testing personal care products and cosmetics!  Studies can pay $75-$400.  Men and women ages 18-70 of all skin tones are invited to apply. 

You must have an application on file with us to participate in studies. Your application must include your signature on the last page. Applications are entered into our database within a few days of receipt; exact time depends on volume of applications received. We do not conduct overnight studies.

*Please note that your responses to application questions will be used to determine your eligibility to participate in clinical studies. The information you provide will be kept confidential. If at any time you no longer wish to be considered for clinical studies, you can contact ALS using our contact information below and request that your information be made inactive.

Referral program

Earn extra money by referring your friends

If you have an application on file with us, you can earn $50 for each new panelist you refer to our Irving site; the bonus is awarded after your referral completes their first study.

WE NOW HAVE CONVENIENT REFERRAL CARDS

Do you know someone who may want to participate in clinical studies with ALS at our Irving site? Do you like to earn via the referral program? Come to our site in Irving and pick up some customizable referral cards. These cards make referring easier – our vital information plus a QR code that takes your referral directly to our online application. On the back of the card, there are spaces for your information. Earn $50 per qualified referral.
