Nigel Garrard was appointed as Chairman of ALS Limited on 31 July 2024, following his appointment as Non-Executive Director on 7 June 2023. Nigel has over 20 years’ experience as an ASX-listed CEO. As CEO of Orora Ltd., he led the demerger of Orora Limited from Amcor, and the subsequent listing of Orora on the ASX. He was President of the Amcor Australasia and Packaging Distribution business group, Managing Director of Coca-Cola Amatil’s Food and Services Division, and Managing Director of SPC Ardmona. Nigel is currently the Chair of Ansell Limited, Flinders Port Holdings Pty Ltd, and McMahon Services advisory board.
Malcolm Deane

Malcolm Deane was appointed as CEO and Managing Director of ALS Limited in May 2023. Malcolm has served the company in various executive positions for the past 10 years in such roles as General Manager for Life Sciences Latin America, Food & Pharma Americas, and most recently as the Chief Strategy Officer, leading corporate strategy, business development and acquisitions. Malcolm has a Master of Laws from the University of Virginia School of Law and Juris Doctor from Universidad Austral – Buenos Aires, Argentina.
John Mulcahy

John Mulcahy was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited in 2012. John has more than 30 years of leadership experience in financial services and resources. He currently serves as Chairman of Orix Australia Corporation Limited, a non-listed public company (appointed March 2016), and Deputy Chairman of GWA Group Limited (appointed November 2010). John is a former Guardian of the Future Fund of Australia and former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Suncorp Group Limited.
Tonianne Dwyer

Tonianne Dwyer was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 1 July 2016. She has significant experience as a company director and executive working in finance, corporate strategy and mergers and acquisitions across a variety of sectors and international markets. Tonianne is an internationally experienced independent company director, having had a 25-year executive career in investment banking during which she held roles with Hambros Bank Limited and Société General in the UK and Europe.
Siddhartha Kadia

Siddhartha Kadia was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 15 January 2019. Siddhartha was formerly President and CEO of EAG Laboratories, a global scientific testing company. He has also been a Director of USA-listed companies Newport Corporation, Volcano Corporation, Nuvasive Inc, and was CEO and a Director of PhenomeX. Siddhartha has a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Siddhartha has worked in the US, Japan, China, and India and has more than 20 years of experience in the Life Sciences and TIC sectors.

Leslie Desjardins was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 21 November 2019. She has a background as a CFO and senior financial and governance professional in a range of large multinational and global businesses. Ms Desjardins is currently a Director of Ansell Limited and of AptarGroup. Leslie holds a Master of Science, Business with Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Sloan and a Bachelor of Industrial Administration, Finance with Kettering University.
Peter Possemiers

Peter Possemiers was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 1 November 2022. He has a background as a TIC sector expert with 40 years’ experience as a senior executive in leadership roles globally for SGS. He has led regional and global teams, most notably SGS’s global Environment Health and Safety business. Peter is a respected leader with a deep understanding of TIC practices across multiple regions and a substantial track record in leading strategic acquisitions.

Erica Mann was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 1 March 2024. She has experience across complex, highly regulated, multi-channel and multi-product environment in top DAX, NYSE, NSDAQ pharmaceutical, OTC and FMCG multinationals. Erica has deep experience with global and emerging markets across Africa, China, Russia and Brazil. She currently holds Non-Executive Director positions on the boards of Kellanova, DSM-Firmenich, and Perrigo.

Catharine Farrow was appointed a Non-Executive Director of ALS Limited on 24 March 2025. She is a senior mining executive with more than 30 years of experience in all aspects of exploration, development, technical services, acquisitions, company building, operations, board governance and innovation/technology. Ms Farrow is currently a Non-Executive Director on the board of Franco-Nevada Corporation, Eldorado Gold Corporation and Exiro Mineral Corp.
