Food testing

ALS has decades of experience in delivering the highest standards of service with the utmost integrity. Whether you require analytical testing of food and drink, dairy, water, or technical services help, ALS offers a comprehensive range of microbiological, physical, and chemical testing services combined with industry-leading technical expertise and customer service.

All of our laboratories across the UK and Ireland are either UKAS (1282) accredited, or INAB accredited to ISO 17025 with other relevant accreditations in place where necessary. Our independent quality department undertakes an internal programme of self-inspection to ensure that our exacting standards are met, and by participating in a number of proficiency schemes we remain at the forefront of the industry.

Specialist Microbiology

The specialist micro department is a dedicated team of technical experts able to provide a variety of bespoke microbiology services as part of a genuine one-stop-shop solution. The team carries out  a wide range of bespoke trials including challenge tests, validation projects, and investigative microbiology studies.

Technical Services, Auditing & training

Our subject matter experts have a wealth of experience in both laboratory and food manufacturing environments that enable ALS to offer a comprehensive and tailored solution in the application of the HACCP principles, food safety standards and regulatory requirements.

ALS is recruiting for members of the public to take part in remunerated market research and user testing events such as focus groups and interviews and give their opinion on a wide range of food and non-food products.
