ALS expands food testing, quality control, and certification capabilities by acquiring Corthorn Quality S.A. Chile
The CQ team join ALS with a wealth of industry experience and business knowledge, complementing our operations in the Pacific Region, whilst also expanding our Food upstream sector capabilities.
Corthorn Quality is a laboratory recognised as a high-quality service provider, with a strong focus on client service. CQ operates from two laboratories in Chile, located in Santiago and Talcahuano.
The business was founded in 1988 and is specialised in the quality control and certification in the upstream market sector of the food industry, such as Agro-industry, Food Producers and Processors, with a focus on Beverages, Wines and Alcohols, Olive Oil and Pomace, Pet Food, amongst others.
CQ offers an extensive range of testing services to the food market including chemical, contaminants & pesticides, physical, microbiological and sensory analysis to a wide range of clients.
