General qualifications for enrolling in our studies in Phoenix. Individual studies will have further qualifications.


Potential study participants must be in good general health, able to read and understand English, and have a valid U.S. government-issued photo ID. Participants cannot have any autoimmune disorder. Participants cannot be pregnant, nursing or planning a pregnancy.

24-053 Hair/Scalp

Hair Study Panelist with visible Thinning Hair
The study will be conducted over a 180-days (6 months): 4 visits / 2 compliance calls
Total Compensation $620.00

Requirements:

    • Females in good general health and between ages of 25-45
    • Individuals with thinning hair as determined by a dermatologist based on the savin scale for female balding.
    • Individuals who have not participated hair/scalp clinical study or for the past 30 days and agree to not concurrently participate in any other hair/scalp study.

25-010 /25-012 Face & Forearm Serum

1-week period / 5 visits: 3-day washout period
This Study has a one visit of 12-14Hr Sequester

Requirements:

    • Females ages 18-70
    • Individuals who have not participated or currently on any face or forearm studies 14 days prior to study start.
    • Individuals with damaged skin at or near the test sites Face and Inner Forearms (e.g., evidence of irritation, sunburn, excessive hair, excessive nevi or moles, excessive freckles, non-removable piercings, scars, tattoos, or other disfigurations) that could interfere with study evaluations.

Study Duration

Requirements:

    • Females ages 18-65 with Oily Skin.
    • Individuals who are willing to remain sequestered inside the testing facility for up to 14 hours.
    • Participated in a clinical study involving the test site(s) 7 days prior to study initiation at ALS or another testing facility.
    • Individuals with damaged skin at or near the test sites (e.g., evidence of irritation, sunburn, excessive hair, excessive nevi or moles, excessive freckles, non-removable piercings, scars, tattoos, or other disfigurations) that could interfere with study evaluations.

Want to start earning money by participating in our studies? It’s easy. Fill out our online application and a recruiter will contact you when you qualify for a study. We test products for skin care, hair care, makeup, sun care, cellulite, anti-aging products, eyelash products, and children’s products. Please note that due to insurance liabilities, children are not permitted in the office.

Referrals are greatly appreciated. For each individual you refer who completes a study, you will receive a $25.00 referral bonus. Individuals must be new to ALS and not currently in our database. Referral forms are available at the main office and must be completed by both parties and handed in on the first day of the study. The referred individual must register, be recruited and enrolled, and complete their study for you to receive the referral bonus.
